At Adobe Summit 2026, on April 20, Adobe replaced the Experience Cloud name with Adobe CX Enterprise, which MarTech describes as an AI-first platform that merges creative and marketing capabilities under an agent-based architecture.

What Adobe announced

  • Three pillars: Brand Visibility, Customer Engagement and Content Supply Chain, supported by a new Adobe AI Platform with Brand Intelligence and a CX Engagement Intelligence System.
  • Agents: more than 10 purpose-built agents in production across optimization, insights, audience creation and journey orchestration, and a “Coworkers” tier of persistent, self-learning agents with enterprise memory. Adobe reports 1,770 or more customers entitled to use agents through credit-based pricing.
  • Brand Concierge: a consumer-facing conversational agent operating under human-on-the-loop rules with guardrails and monitoring. GenStudio expands to three modules for performance marketing, content marketing and commerce media.
  • Marketo Engage gains a conversational AI layer with an MCP server for agent-to-agent communication.
  • Adobe’s governance model has two levels: human-in-the-loop for creative judgment and human-on-the-loop for autonomous work within guardrails. Its research says 75% of organizations name data quality as the main barrier.

Our read

Putting brand visibility in AI answers on equal footing with engagement and content is a message to specialist vendors: the large suites intend to sell this too. Whether Adobe’s version matches specialist tools is untested here, and the claims about agents and customers are Adobe’s. Buyers should ask what the tool measures, which engines it queries, how credits are spent, and how its results are checked.
