Salesforce and Siemens announced an expanded partnership on September 15, 2026 at Dreamforce. It combines Agentforce with Siemens’ Teamcenter Service Lifecycle Management to bring engineering-level answers into sales, service and customer workflows.

Use cases described

  • Service technicians can identify the right spare parts for a serial number before a site visit.
  • Sales reps can quote only technically valid, manufacturable upgrades.
  • Customers can find and order the right part without waiting for an engineer or a hotline. The release cites industry analysis that aftermarket revenue grows about six times faster than new equipment sales at roughly four times the margin.

The inbound lead deployment

Siemens had over 2,500 unqualified leads a month and no way to tell which were worth sellers’ time. Agentforce now serves 18,000 sellers: leads flow into Sales Cloud and are handled by an engagement agent that sends personalised outreach and a qualification agent that vets prospects and routes the strongest to sellers. Siemens says it engages 100% of inbound leads across 132 countries.

Planned

An AI SDR agent called Piper to replace the intake-form wait for prospective distributors, Slackbot to orchestrate supplier onboarding and Agentforce Operations, powered by Regrello, for onboarding steps in SAP. The release says this would cut supplier onboarding from weeks to days.

Our read

These are company-reported results in a joint release. The pattern to copy is simple: respond to every lead, qualify before a human is involved and make the routing rule explicit.
