Wrike published its September 2026 release notes in its help centre. These are the items it lists.
AI agents (Business+ plans)
- Launch complete, standardized structures with parent items and subtasks in a single step through blueprints.
- Create items with rich, formatted descriptions with headings, bullet points and highlights.
- Add delays before actions so outside integrations can update first, and send notifications to Microsoft Teams group chats.
- Select users and locations through interactive chips.
Other items
- Wrike MCP v2 improves AI assistant integration with unified search and lower token use. AI usage tracking is available to account admins.
- Inbox search and filters for approvals and @mentions on all plans.
- Dependencies and Gantt (Team+): a Successors column that syncs with Predecessors, start constraints and shift-drag of whole dependency chains.
- Dashboards (Team+): reference lines on charts and calculation methods for custom field metrics.
Our read
For a campaign team the useful item is blueprints: the same project structure created by an agent each time instead of copied by hand. The admin-facing usage tracking matters just as much, because agents consume resources and someone should see how much. Check which of these your plan includes before planning around them.
