In 60 seconds

  • ZoomInfo acquired DoubleO.ai (terms not disclosed) and launched Agent Teams on October 1, 2026 in GTM Studio.
  • Each agent has its own role, instructions and tools; teams run multi-step plays triggered by schedules, webhooks, CRM events or signals such as website visits.
  • No new contract or SKU is required: usage is billed as AI Credits, with an estimate shown before a play runs.
  • Templates include Inbound Lead Activation, Closed/Won Account Handoff and Weekly Sales Briefing.

Stack impact
Ask for the credit cost per play, role-based access and logging before enabling it, and test reliability on a low-risk play first.
Business impact
Moderate Vendor material: a ZoomInfo CEO post and a Business Wire release summarised in search results. Reliability is the unproven claim, and the review step is not yet available.

What to watch
Customer results and the arrival of human-approval controls.

ZoomInfo said it acquired DoubleO.ai, an agentic orchestration platform, on September 30, 2026, and launched Agent Teams the next day. Agent Teams is an orchestration feature in ZoomInfo GTM Studio that runs multi-step go-to-market plays across agents, systems and signals. Financial terms were not disclosed.

How it works

  • Teams are made of custom agents with configurable roles, instructions and tools. The CEO’s post says “Describe a play in plain English, and Agent Teams builds it.”
  • Triggers: manual inputs, recurring schedules, webhooks, CRM events (Salesforce or HubSpot) and signals such as website visits and completed meetings.
  • Integrations: Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, Gmail, SalesLoft, Outreach, and Claude via MCP.
  • Templates: Inbound Lead Activation, Outbound Prospecting, Closed/Won Account Handoff, Closed/Won Competitor Acceleration, Meeting Insights & CRM Update and Weekly Sales Briefing.

Pricing and access

Available now in GTM Studio via a ZoomInfo representative. No new contract or SKU is required; usage is billed as AI Credits against an existing contract, with a credit estimate before a play runs. No dollar amounts are listed.

Governance

Monitoring of every play, per-team cost tracking, role-based access and organisation-level knowledge bases. A “Pause for Review” human-in-the-loop approval step is described as a future roadmap item, not a current feature.

Our read

The unproven claim is reliability. Start with a play where a mistake is cheap, such as an internal briefing, and check logs before you let agents write to customers.
