What it does
- The Dispute Management AI Agent automates compensation inquiries and dispute resolution workflows.
- It runs on the Model Context Protocol and integrates with ServiceNow Now Assist for secure, real-time coordination between Xactly’s revenue platform and ServiceNow’s conversational AI.
- If a seller disagrees with a commission payment, the application opens a Compensation Dispute in ServiceNow, collects the context, validates the claim and works through a guided resolution, often in a single interaction.
- It is the first of a fleet of agents planned on the Xactly and ServiceNow agentic framework.
Our read
Commission questions are repetitive, rule-based and tedious, which is why they suit an agent. They also involve money and trust, so decisions with payment consequences should keep a human check and a record of what the agent decided and why. The interesting design point is two vendors’ agents handing work to each other through MCP, which is likely to become common in sales operations. Results and pricing were not in what we read.
