Adobe’s documentation describes Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service made up of high-level solutions: AEM Sites, AEM Assets and AEM Forms.

The parts

  • AEM Sites: Adobe’s experience management platform for authoring, administering and delivering site content.
  • AEM Assets: the digital asset management solution built into AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Edge Delivery Services: a composable set of services for fast authoring and publishing. Adobe says it supports document-based authoring, so that changes made in Word or Google Docs can be turned into updated content on a live site, and that it can coexist with AEM Sites and AEM Assets on the same domain.

Where it fits

AEM is one of the products Adobe says it will connect with Semrush after the April 2026 acquisition (see our coverage). Pricing is not stated in the sources we reviewed.
