Mixpanel announced Agent Intelligence on October 1, 2026. The company says it connects the performance of AI agents to customer behaviour, so product teams can see whether agents drive business outcomes and what to improve.
Features listed
- Cost, latency and error metrics pre-loaded, with no dashboard to build first.
- Agent activity, recorded as scattered fragments, stitched into the conversations it belongs to, so teams can open the exchange turn by turn.
- Agent events tied to user identity for funnel and cohort analysis.
- Experimentation to test prompts, configurations and models.
It is in early access. Mixpanel also announced enhanced Mixpanel Agent capabilities, no-code experimentation, an improved Context Engine and AI-powered data governance tools. CTO Anant Gupta is quoted: “There’s no shortage of tools showing what your AI agent did. Far fewer tell you what that means for customers.” Blake Kurinsky of Sprout Social says the product lets him view full agent conversations next to customer outcomes.
Our read
Most agent monitoring answers “did it run” and “how much did it cost.” The harder question is whether the person got what they needed. Linking agent events to a user’s later behaviour is a sensible way to approach it, and it depends on a clear definition of success for each agent. This is an early-access product described by its maker, so test it on one agent before relying on it.
