Kargo announced on October 1, 2026 that Karlo, its self-serve agentic media buying platform for smaller teams and businesses, is generally available at karlo.com.

How it works, per Kargo

  • People start from existing marketing documents or plain-language prompts to set goals, build audiences and manage campaigns. Setup takes minutes.
  • Campaigns are planned, created and activated across the open web, connected TV and social from one system.
  • Two technologies power it: Creative Science, drawing on two decades of Kargo’s cross-platform performance data, and Media Intelligence, which combines premium audience data with contextual signals. Creative evaluation is built into real-time decisions alongside targeting and bidding.

Kargo reports that an Ad Council campaign for “Love, Your Mind,” run through Karlo, achieved a 21% lift in ad recall and a 10% lift in aided awareness. CEO Harry Kargman said creative “usually sits outside that loop, untouched, even though it’s the biggest lever on performance.” Pricing and minimum budgets were not disclosed.

Our read

Platforms and ad tech vendors are racing to give small advertisers an agent that buys for them. What distinguishes Karlo’s pitch is the creative data inside the decision. Treat the Ad Council result as a single, vendor-reported case. A fair test is a small budget, a clear control and a view of what the agent chose and why.
