Any footnote or methodology YouTube publishes for the lift figure.

On October 15, 2026 YouTube for Business sent a 25-page creator marketing playbook, “Build & Boost”, through its Brand & Beyond newsletter on LinkedIn, according to PPC Land.

The changed number

  • The May 7, 2026 edition said creator partnerships boost on Demand Gen delivered a 20% increase in conversion lift, sourced to “Google Data, Global, Jan 2025 – Jan 2026”.
  • The October 15 post says 30% “while maintaining CPA efficiency”, sourced to “Google Internal Data, Global, Jan 2025 – Jan 2026”.
  • The 30% figure does not appear in the PDF body, and YouTube gave no reason for the change.

Other figures in the playbook

  • 99% of viewers reached by a boosted creator video are fully incremental to organic reach (internal analysis, June 4 to September 1, 2026).
  • Kantar (US, 2026): brand plus creator content versus brand alone gave 1.6x aided awareness, 1.5x consideration and 1.6x purchase intent; 20 campaigns, total sample 4,342.
  • Wayfair: 34% higher engagement rate “vs. benchmarks” and 8x ROAS on Affiliate Boost “compared to BAU”; no baseline is defined.

Gaps

No explanation for 20% to 30%, unfilled “X” and “Y” placeholders in the Kantar footnote, and no results for the Adobe and Kimberly-Clark examples.
